working with God to transform lives and  communities

The church is now be closed but please remember your parish church has been here for nearly a thousand years. The Yew trees in the churchyard have been here for over 300 years. Our church has seen us through the Black Death, plagues, small pox, Spanish flu, the two world wars and now Coronavirus.

And our church, both physically and spiritually will get us through this worrying time.  It’s what we do, because Christ Jesus is the rock on which we are built.  He is the light that never goes out and may his peace rest in our homes, and the homes of those we love.

An informal formality, where God's love gets messy!

A beautiful building......but its not just about the building...

its about people, faith, Jesus and God!

Rededication Prayer

Eternal God,

In your faithful and enduring love you call us to share in your gracious covenant in Jesus Christ.
In humble obedience we hear and accept your commands.
In our fragile love we seek to do your perfect will.
In hopeful joy we offer ourselves to you.
I am no longer my own but yours.

Put me to what you will, rank me with whom you will, put me to doing, put me to suffering.

Let me be employed by you or laid aside for you, exalted for you or brought low for you;
let me be full,
let me be empty,
let me have all things,
let me have nothing.
I freely and wholeheartedly yield all things to your pleasure and disposal.
Glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I am yours – may it be so forever.  Amen.
